by law. Summer Shipping
During the warm summer months, it becomes necessary to ship
chocolate gift baskets with ice packs to ensure they arrive in
peak condition. They must also be shipped via UPS Express and
cannot be shipped over the weekend. However, we do include
chocolates in our gift baskets for local delivery including
weekends. Hospital and Hotel Delivery Delivery to hospitals and hotels is not recommended. However, if you would like your gift delivered please be sure that the gift recipient will still be there when your gift arrives.
Please note that many hospitals/hotels have a central receiving department where packages are delivered prior to delivery to the patient/guest. Many hospitals/hotels do not allow delivery personnel to deliver to a specific room due to privacy regulations or security purposes.
The Sweet Basket will not refund or replace gifts delivered to hospitals and hotels. Claims for orders lost or misplaced within hospitals or hotels , failure of the hospital or hotel staff to deliver the gift to the patients or guests or gifts arriving after a patient or guest has been released or checked out will not be honored.
