Dallas Morning News
: The Cowboys like their young receivers and
Jones said there's a 50-50 chance that Terry Glenn will start in
2008. Without Glenn, the Cowboys had a very good offense last
season, it was probably better than the one they had in 2006. If
Glenn returns and you figure Sam Hurd and Miles Austin will be
better. Then, we forget Timmy's favortie wideout, Patrick Crayton,
returns. Plus you have T.O. and I'm sure Felix Jones will catch a
few passes out of the backfield. The receiving core is not bad.
Not bad at all. So, let Roy Williams stay in Detroit. Would he
have been a great pickup? Yes, sir he would have. But not at the
cost of two first round picks.

: The future of fellow wide receiver Terry Glenn appears
uncertain, Jones said. Glenn missed 15 games after arthroscopic
surgery on his right knee. He will need microfracture surgery on
the knee, a procedure that typically requires a year of recovery
time. "That's something I will sit down over the days ahead to
talk to him about," Jones said.

Dallas Morning News
: Cowboys WR T.O. was the only Cowboy not
participating in practice. Terry Glenn was the only one not
wearing shoulder pads. Other than that, everybody was full go.
That includes C Andre Gurode (knee), NT Jay Ratliff (knee), CB
Terence Newman (knee), S Pat Watkins (ankle) and S Keith Davis
(knee). There wasn't a whole lot of action during the time the
media was allowed to watch, but the offensive line got the pads
popping pretty good. Gurode was running with the first team and
looked fine.

: If it isn't raining or snowing, there's a good
chance of veteran WR Terry Glenn playing a few series with
Tony Romo. Glenn has practiced and ran hard without his
knee swelling afterward. Receivers coach Ray Sherman
believes Glenn could add a lot to the already explosive
Dallas offense. "Having a guy like that brings another
dimension to your offense." Sherman said. "That is huge.
It's good to have him back on the field." Glenn ran and cut
full speed in practice without incident this past week.

ESPN
: Barring a setback at practice in the next two days, WR Terry
Glenn will see his first playing time of the season on Sunday when
his Cowboys visit the Redskins. Glenn, a 12-year veteran who has
been sidelined since September when he underwent a second
arthroscopic procedure on his right knee, has been able to
practice this week at full speed and has worked with the first-
unit offense. Coach Wade Phillips said it will be Glenn's decision
whether he starts. Dallas will play the season finale without WR
Terrell Owens, who suffered a high left ankle sprain early in
Saturday's victory at Carolina. The Redskins can claim the final
NFC wild-card spot with a victory against archrival Dallas.

: Cowboys HC Wade Phillips assessed WR Terry
Glenn injury: According to the coach, Glenn may be ready to
practice this week, with the hope that he can play some against
Carolina, and more against Washington in an effort to ramp him up
for the playoffs. Glenn is dealing with some swelling in his right
quad, and may need to have it drained at some point if it persists
over the next few days.

ESPN
: Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn went through some drills at
practice for the first time all season Wednesday, a good
indication the already dominant Dallas offense could have another
weapon by the playoffs. Glenn, out because of two knee operations,
is not expected to play Sunday against the Eagles. He could make
his season debut the following Saturday at Carolina or in the
regular-season finale at Washington. If the Cowboys get a first-
round bye, Glenn would have four weeks of practice before the
first playoff game.
