At The Sweet Basket, we take great pride in offering you the highest quality gift and so for this reason, all our gift baskets are not pre-assembled. They are prepared at the time we receive your order. This ensures that your gift recipient receives the freshest most delicious product at all times.
Please allow 24 hours to process your gift order. During peak holiday season (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas) please allow 2 - 3 business days for production.

Shipment Notification:Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation along with a FedEx tracking number via email so you may personally monitor the progress of your gift order.
Free Standard Ground Shipping: You can expect your gift to arrive within 3-7 business days depending on the destination (this does not include the day your order is placed).
N.B.: Shipping service to remote areas may take longer than urban areas.

Next Day Air : You can expect your gift to arrive within 1 business day (this does not include the day your order was placed). Please note that FedEx Next Day Air is not available in some remote areas. Please click here to view our delivery charges.
The Sweet Basket reserves the right to modify or terminate its free shipping offer at any time.
It is important that you provide us with complete and accurate delivery information including the gift recipient's telephone number. Incorrect or missing information could result in delivery delays or non-delivery.
The cost to reship or redeliver your gift due to incorrect or incomplete address information is the sender's responsibility. Please note that you may incur an $8.00 address correction fee if the address you entered must be modified to ensure delivery. We regret we cannot ship to a P.O. Box.
We do not ship chocolate during hot summer months. The Sweet Basket will substitute chocolate with a product of equal or higher value.
Shipping delays may occur during various holiday seasons as well as for multiple orders. We will contact you via email or phone if we foresee any shipping delays with your order.
The Sale of Wine Gift Baskets
In accordance with Federal and State laws, The Sweet Basket Company does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. By using this site you swear and affirm that you are over the age of 18. The Sweet Basket Company makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 18. By using this site you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from The Sweet Basket Company is over the age of 18. You also agree that any alcohol purchased from The Sweet Basket Company is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If you do not agree with these conditions of use please do not use this site. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 18 you may be prosecuted to the full extent allowable by law.
Please note adult signatures are required on deliveries containing alcohol.
Hospital and Hotel Delivery
Delivery to hospitals and hotels is not recommended. However, if you would like your gift delivered please be sure that the gift recipient will still be there when your gift arrives.
Please note that many hospitals/hotels have a central receiving department where packages are delivered prior to delivery to the patient/guest. Many hospitals/hotels do not allow delivery personnel to deliver to a specific room due to privacy regulations or security purposes.
The Sweet Basket will not refund or replace gifts delivered to hospitals and hotels. Claims for orders lost or misplaced within hospitals or hotels , failure of the hospital or hotel staff to deliver the gift to the patients or guests or gifts arriving after a patient or guest has been released or checked out will not be honored.
Please Note: Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed or shipped
Please provide us with a daytime address and telephone number for the gift recipient as we require a signature upon delivery.
We are not liable for incorrect and incomplete addresses.
Our shipping carrier will make 2 delivery attempts before returning a package.
New shipping charges plus a handling fee of 15% will apply to process returned orders a second time.
